Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance to ensure efficient operation and product quality.
• Troubleshoot machinery and production issues, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation for quality control purposes.
• Perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to improve productivity and reduce waste during the extrusion process.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Extrusion Operator or in a similar role within the plastics industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail in all aspects of production.
• Capacity to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
