We are partnering with an organization in the Hydronic HVAC industry that is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to develop and maintain key client relationships. This company has been a trusted local and international sales representative since 1981, partnering with some of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the industry. Customers include end users, engineers, wholesalers, and contractors across Florida and the Caribbean.

Job Overview

The Outside Sales Representative will manage and grow a book of business, focusing on long-term client relationships and consultative sales. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, working with decision-makers, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and wholesalers.
  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within an established book of business.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and ongoing customer follow-ups.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with inside sales and support teams to ensure seamless client service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, construction, or HVAC-related industries preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build relationships over time.
  • Comfortable working in a longer sales cycle with high-value accounts.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • First-Year Base Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 (based on experience).
  • Commission: 30% of gross profit on sales.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000 - $300,000.
  • Quarterly commission payouts (paid one quarter in arrears).
  • Transition to 100% commission-based earnings after the first year.
