Your Role The Care Management team which manages care management for all lines of business. The Program Manager Clinical Consultant- Substance Recovery will report to the Senior Principal, Clinical Program Manager, Care Management. In this role you will help provide strategic direction for clinical programs related to chronic pain management and substance use disorders. You will also be assisting other care management staff to help determine substance use disorder recovery needs of members and best resources to support the member. You may also be assisting members directly providing substance use assessment, care planning, recommendations and care coordination. Your WorkIn this role, you will:Provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given program, including requirements gathering, business case creation, and implementation Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business modelReview program budget variance and scope change requests, and participate in the budget-resolution process Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues, while promoting collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders Support and coach project managers within the program, while providing technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of program, projects, and initiatives Provide consultation to case management staff to assess if member has chronic pain needs and/or substance use disorder recovery needsDevelop staff training materials for new, revised, or existing clinical programsTrain clinical and non-clinical staff on relevant clinical programsWork with members to assess substance use/abuse needs and recommend resourcesAssist and recommend in network substance use/abuse resources and providersYour Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceRequires at least 7 years of prior relevant experienceRequires RN, LMFT, LPCC, PSYD licensure or similar by the Board of Registered Nursing or Board of Behavioral SciencesRequires direct patient substance use recovery experienceRequires experience collaborating with provider groups, community resources, and agenciesRequires strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsRequires at least 2 years prior relevant experience working with a Managed Care Plan#LI-AD3
