Summer Internship Program Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our real estate divisions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of the commercial real estate process while working closely with experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in or has recently graduated from a Master’s program focused on real estate or a related field and is eager to build a career in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of potential real estate acquisitions, including market research and financial modeling.
• Support the entitlements process by preparing and reviewing necessary documentation.
• Participate in construction and operational meetings, taking notes and summarizing key points for the team.
• Conduct due diligence on leases, easements, and other real estate transactions.
• Utilize Excel to compile and analyze data related to property performance, market trends, and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage in property visits to gain insights into various operations and management practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with real estate market analysis and valuation techniques.
• Experience with real estate software or tools (e.g., CoStar, Argus) is a plus.
• Knowledge of zoning regulations and property management practices.
• Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information effectively.

 

Internship Schedule:

Start Date:  Monday, June 16, 2025

Mid-Summer Holiday (Unpaid):  Friday, July 4, 2025

End Date:  Wednesday, August 7, 2025

Interns must be available to work during normal business hours on site at our office Monday – Thursday throughout the full duration of the program. There may be an opportunity to work remotely, Fridays weekly. 
No relocation assistance will be provided. Interns must have local housing and reliable transportation prior to applying.

Compensation:  $25.00 - $38 per hour, based upon relevant experience to the role.
