Salary range: $135,000 - $155,000 (for Senior/Experienced level)

About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Senior iOS Developer to design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform, with opportunities to integrate and leverage AI/ML features to enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and a seamless user experience, particularly for features powered by AI. A strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store and a passion for mobile technologies and integrating cutting-edge features is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build sophisticated applications for the iOS platform using Swift and/or Objective-C, incorporating best practices for performance and user experience.

  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features, including those that utilize AI/ML capabilities on device or via APIs.

  • Integrate with backend APIs and services to fetch data and interact with server-side logic, including potentially consuming AI model inference results.

  • Implement user interfaces that effectively present and interact with data or outputs generated by AI models.

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs; help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in iOS development and explore opportunities to leverage new technologies, including Core ML or other on-device ML frameworks.

  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior iOS developers.

  • Contribute to the architecture and design of the iOS application.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of professional iOS development experience.

  • Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C, with a strong understanding of Apple's design principles, interface guidelines, and the iOS ecosystem.

  • Experience with core iOS frameworks (e.g., UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation, networking).

  • Experience with integrating iOS applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.

  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).

  • Experience with or interest in integrating machine learning models into iOS applications using Core ML or other methods is a significant plus.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
