Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country.   For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below:   Job Summary Summary:  THE WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT WILL PERFORM DAILY WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS INCLUDING RECEIVING, STORING, ORGANIZING, AND DISTRIBUTING FOODS WHILE MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive deliveries, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage. Store dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen items in the correct areas.  Pick and stage orders accurately for dispatch. Sweep, clean, and maintain all warehouse areas, including the fridge, freezers and loading dock. Remove waste and recyclable materials. Perform daily temperature checks of cold storage.  Rotate stock following FIFO procedures.  Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely. Assist in monthly inventory counts which occure immediately following the last event of each month.  Qualifications and Requirements: Experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred, but not required.  Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.  Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with self-starter attitude.  Knowledge in food safety procedures and proficiency with inventory software or basic computer skills.  Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.  Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items frequently.  Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers permit. Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate if 21 years or older.  Pallet Jack & Forklift certifications preferred, but not required.  Apply to Levy today!
